Mary Clark Coy is a fourth-generation Charlestonian who has lived her entire life here. She is a licensed tour guide and has taught in a variety of settings, including museums, historic sites and traditional classrooms. In addition to writing five books about Charleston , she is also a freelance writer for area publications.
